Voyage & Mileage

Review recorded nautical miles and export voyage mileage reports.

Where to find it:Voyage mileage report in the Underway schedule or location history

What The Report Measures

Voyage Mileage summarises the yacht's saved underway voyages and recorded nautical miles. It is a vessel report, not an individual crew member's sea-service calculation.

A voyage appearing in the schedule does not prove that its distance and fuel readings are complete.

Check The Source Voyage

1

Review the voyage

Check departure and arrival ports, dates and recorded distance in the underlying voyage.

2

Check missing values

Investigate an unexpected zero or blank before using the report for an official purpose.

3

Correct the source

Use the authorised voyage-editing workflow. The mileage report is not a substitute for maintaining the voyage record.

AIS movement estimates in Vessel Intelligence never create or edit voyage records.

Select The Reporting Period

Use From and To to choose a reporting period. The report includes voyages that overlap that date range, including voyages that begin before it or end after it.

  • Check boundary voyages when preparing a monthly or annual total.
  • An overlapping voyage is not necessarily split into mileage travelled only within the selected dates.
  • Review the voyage breakdown as well as the overall distance.

Read Fuel Figures With Care

Where sufficient readings exist, the report also derives fuel-use metrics. Missing inputs are not evidence of zero consumption.

Review unusually high or low figures against the source readings.
The report supports operational review; it does not by itself certify regulatory compliance.
